Types of Visa for UAE and the requirements for each visa
In order to visit United Arab Emirates you must obtain a visa prior to travel. Though there are several countries that are given exception people from there can apply for visa after arriving to UAE Airport only if the duration of stay is no longer than 30 days.

Except these countries mentioned above all other nationalities must have a visa before travelling to UAE. There are several kinds of visas available for UAE you can choose the right visa by estimating your time of stay. The different types of visas available are as follows:
- Tourist Visa
- Visit Visa
- Work visa
Service visa applied through a hotel:
The validity of this visa is 14 days from the date of issue and from the date of entry which can be extended to 60 days. The visa processing fee and security charges vary from one country to another it is charged per person. The security deposit will be refunded while leaving from the country. The visa processing fee will not be refunded in case of rejection of visa, booking cancellation and expiry of visa. To process a visa through hotel the visitor must stay in the hotel for their entire trip duration. The entry and exit port will be Dubai only. It will require three working days to process visa excluding Friday, Saturday and public holidays.
Documents Required:
The documents required for Service visa through hotel are as follows:
- Visa charges and security deposit
- Passport copy of all the visitors
All these documents must be scanned clearly in color and sent else there are high chances of rejection by the Dubai immigration
Tourist Visa:
This visa is provided by tourist companies and the validity of this visa is 30 days. This visa cannot be renewed or extended failure to do this will lead to penalty of 25 AED for each day. If the person stays more than the stipulated time fine will be charged per day along with charges of out pass.
Documents Required:
- Visitor’s passport photocopy
- Filled in Visa application form
- Trade license of the company – photocopy
- Guarantee letter stating its responsibility for visitor issued by the company
Work Visa:
Work visa is issued for people who work in UAE. The validity of this visa is 60 days to 2 years during this time work residence visa should be processed. Work visa vary according to the nature of work like servants, partners, investors, Government institutions and ministries.
